Liz joined the lab in fall 2019 and has since become an integral part of our field and lab operations. Along with the rest of our fantastic crew, she is keeping the grassland birds on their toes, and beginning a project on parental care along side this work.
We were lucky to recruit Miriam to the lab as a freshman. She has participated in both winter and summer field research and many aspects of year-round lab & data work. She spent the summer of 2019 as an REU in New Mexico, and is now studying an interesting phenomenon in Eastern Meadowlark nests… stay tuned for discoveries.
