Kristen came to us with an impressive background in biomedical research and then some solid field time, including working in Panama with Dr. Emily DuVal studying Lance-tailed Manakins. Her doctoral work tackles questions regarding causes of movement and the consequences of rain in three species of manakins (White-ruffed, White-collared, and Golden-collared) in Costa Rica and Panama.
