Despite having spent summer 2018 chasing sparrows, meadowlarks, and dickcissels, we didn’t scare Joanna away! During summer 2019, she conducted independent research using experimental methods to determine the functional consequences of nest orientation. She also became an indispensable member of the lab, working through processing mountains of data… images, videos, and both hard copy and electronic data management. We love her quirky sense of humor. We wish her the best in Panama and beyond.
